A Japanese company specializing in medical analysis software is offering to license out its image diagnosis software for the orthodontics sector. The software allows users to identify the cephalometric points that are used in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. The company is looking for a partner in the EU that would license the software and bring it on the market with its own CE marking and trademark. A Japanese medical analysis software company is offering to license out its software to EU companies.

The company product is an image diagnosis software for the orthodontics sector. It enables users to perform a cephalometric analysis. The software is widely adopted by universities and dental clinics in Japan and its market share and product recognition in Japan have tripled in the past few years.

Though the software was developed in Japan, they have previously worked together with a distribution partner in Finland. From this experience, they have acquired standardised jaw-frame data which is suitable for diagnosis of the patients in Europe.

The company would provide the software to their potential partner as an original equipment manufacturing supplier.
